| Winemaker Notes |
Pinot Gris is really making a name for itself, especially in Oregon. Our past vintages have been very well received and medaled in all competitions that we’ve entered them in! Our 2005 Pinot Gris received a 91 “Exceptional” and was featured in the Aug 2006 and July 2007 issues of Wine & Spirits magazine as one of the Top 5 Best White Wine Values in the country! Similar in appearance to the Pinot Grigio grape, our Pinot Gris is more Alsatian, with incredible structure, richness, minerals & smooth texture. The bright fruit up front is framed by hints of melon and pear (tropical) with a touch of citrus with grapefruit flavors and semi-dry in the stainless steel tank fermented wine. Surprising round mouth feels give way to a wonderfully balanced acidity in the back of the palate.
Enjoy with pasta, salads and seafood. With beautiful fruit up front and balanced acidity on the finish, this is a wine for all occasions.
