Over the past few years, our dedicated following have requested a bigger, bolder wine from Kathken, so this year I researched and tasted a lot of fruit from the Rogue Valley to find the perfect match to blend with our own estate Pinot Noir. Numerous trials and tastings later, I believe I’ve found the perfect harmony of these distinctive grapes and have created a unique wine with both elegance and boldness. The roguish name, The Remedy, comes from the very creative advertising talents of my daughter, Daneen Slusser Smith and her equally talented husband, Brad Smith.
