| The making of this wine was truly a labor of love. This cuvee´ is made from a blend of six clones of our finest Pinot Noir 2006 estate grown grapes, Pommard, Wadensvil, 114, 115, and the French clones 667 & 777. The dark garnet color and the aromas of black cherry and spice with a touch of pepper enhance the structure on the mid-palate. The multi-level complexity affords your palate an amazing experience before attaining the soft finish. This is a truly remarkable wine. I originally made this wine for my youngest daughter's wedding but I will always dedicate this wine to the memory of my beloved mother, Kathryn Clarke Slusser, and the Clarke family whose tradition on the west coast dates back to the 1850's. Here's to you, Mom! |
